This course has been a good learning experience for me. I learnt about a lot of AI tools which I wasn't aware of and I learnt how to optimally use them for the best results.

The study material provided was also good. It was detailed explaining the concepts of AI and how to use them effectively in the legal domain. I was personally impressed to receive the hard copy of the study material. Having a hard copy is always better.

The other thing I liked about the course was the teaching methodology. The duration of classes was reasonable ensuring attentiveness in the topics covered. The practical demonstrations of the use of AI tools also helped in better understanding.

A few weeks ago, I thought AI for lawyers meant ChatGPT and a prayer.

Then I signed up for the AI for Law Students and Lawyers course by Meta School. I thought I would learn a few prompts and be done in a weekend.

That is not what happened.

I realized the real value wasn't just the tools. It was learning how to use them responsibly and efficiently.

There were live classes every week. The course instructor took the time to answer every question. No rushing, no shortcuts. The group was a mix too: lawyers, law students, and a few other professionals, all trying to figure this out together.

A few lessons stayed with me:

• A good prompt needs context, clear instructions, and the format you want back. • AI is useful for a first pass on research and contracts, but legal judgment still stays with the lawyer. • A well-designed workflow is far more valuable than knowing ten different AI tools.

But what left the biggest impression on me was the mentorship.
